Bass, Vocals, Saxophone and Keyboards (B-3, Rhodes, Wurlitz er, Piano) Full time musician, Charlotte, NC native and resident.

Currently teaching Music History, Jazz History and Music Theory - CPCC Levine Campus - Matthews, NC.

Masters of Music in Jazz Studies - University of North Texas 1998.

Bachelors of Music in Saxophone/B.M. in Performance - Winthrop University 1994.

Down Beat Magazine Student Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Soloist in 1993.

Currently Scott can be seen playing :

Tenor sax - with the Scott McCloud Group, SM Funk Trio, the Mighty - Mighty - Men and the Scott Jeffrey's Band.

Bass & Vocals - with the newly revamped Rock-Funk-Jazz Trio Hipshack as well as Church of the Beloved .

Scott has performed with talented artists including jazz legend Slide Hampton, Wycliffe Gordon, University of North Texas Lab Bands, the Jon Thornton Swing Thing, the Mighty Mighty Men, the Mark Rapp Funk Ensemble, Scott Jeffrey's Band, the Joe Silva Band, Groove Posse, Sugar Coated Sweet, the Entertainers, the House of Funk, Cookie, and Hipshack.
