Keith Burkhart

Singer and songwriter Keith Burkhart has been performing since childhood. He first reached the piano keys at three, beginning lessons at six. At ten he began playing drums winning several talent shows. In school he played trombone and marched snare drum, but at 13 he found a much greater passion with a six string electric and acoustic guitar.

Shortly after high school Keith found his voice and his confidence grew. While attaining formal music instruction at Davidson County Community College, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and East Carolina University, he learned to write and record music. With folk, rock, rhythm and soul as background Keith has composed over 100 songs. Through his career Keith has opened and performed with such big names as Marshall Tucker, David Allen Coe, Fifth Seasons, Ricky Scaggs, and Three Dog Night.

Keith Burkhart resides in Lexington, North Carolina with wife, Jennifer and son, Gabriel. God and family are Keith's greatest victory and that has proven to be the essence of great music. Keith and Jennifer have an enormous passion and calling for children, and have plans for further education.
